Preorders, Shipping & Returns

Returns

A return for store credit is accepted within 14 days of delivery of order (or when order is ready for store pickup). Clearance items, door busters, face masks and intimates are FINAL SALE and may not be returned.

An exchange is accepted within 14 days of delivery of order (or when order is ready for store pickup).  

  • All returned items must include the original receipt and not have been worn, have tags attached, or have stains /smells /pet hair.
  • Since an exchange cannot be processed until the original order item is received by Scout and Molly’s, it may be better to place a new order to ensure the item is available. 
  • All sales are final on intimate apparel, face masks, door busters, sale items, and special orders.
  • You should expect to receive your store credit within four weeks of mailing your return package to Scout and Molly’s.
  • You are responsible for paying for your own return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We'll pay the return shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error i.e. we shipped an incorrect or defective item; otherwise, you are responsible for return shipping costs. 
  • Ship to address is: 11882 Grand Park Ave #609, North Bethesda, MD 20852. 
  • Use a shipping method that is tracked to prevent loss of item.  Include your invoice and eligible Items in the Return Package. Obtain tracking for your records.
  • Once the return is delivered to our store, it takes 3-5 business days for our team to process. 

Shipping

  • All U.S. shipping charges are a flat rate per order of $7.50.  Please contact us directly if you wish to have your order shipped outside of the U.S.
  • We send all packages with a tracking number. 
  • Shipping costs are nonrefundable.
  • We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages once tracking information reports delivered to address provided. We track all packages and are not responsible for items noted as delivered. Please contact your local USPS for help on recovery of packages reported delivered.

Preorders

If you decide to Preorder an item on our website, please note the following:

  • Payment is charged immediately at checkout not when the item ships
  • Preordering is voluntary and if at any time you would like to cancel your Preorder for a full refund to method of payment please do so prior to shipment announcement on our website 
  • If you need to cancel your Preorder or Update in any way, please email us at northbethesda@scoutandmollys.com
  • If you are ordering a Preorder item with an In-Stock item, you will only be charged Shipping once. We will not charge you again once your Preorder has shipped.
  • For Returns on Preorders, you have 14 days after the receipt of order (or when order is ready for store pickup).  
  • The date listed on the Preorder page is an approximation communicated by our manufacturer and we only update as more information is provided. If you do not see an update then we do not have further information at this time
  • We do our very best to communicate all details for Preorders on the Product page as there are usually many orders for each style and it is not possible to contact everyone individually
  • If at any time you need further details, please contact us at the above phone number and we will be happy to assist! 
  • Preorders can take anywhere from 1-8 weeks depending on the fabric, manufacturing, quantity and details of the item 

 

We'll pay the return shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error i.e. we shipped an incorrect or defective item; otherwise, you are responsible for return shipping costs.  If an item is damaged upon arrival we allow a 48 hour window to notify our team of the damage.
