Transitional Wear: Autumn Leaves

Since 2007 in the UK, Apricot’s Philip Chaimo and Sophia Ciampa have been improvising with the entire spectrum of prints, petals, and patterns in ways you wouldn’t imagine. Inspired by globetrotting, nature, and the bustling rhythm of London, the dream team’s new collection most definitely caught our eye and passion for all that is midi, budding, blooming, and neo-bohemian. Romantic? Check. Elegant? Check. Flirty? Absolutely.

Mood boosters with a renewal vibe! In fact, while daydreaming about wearing Apricot’s leafy green dress on the first cool day of the fall season, we found it difficult to not hum French singer Édith Piaf’s 1946 signature cover of the “Autumn Leaves” song. Go ahead and try it. We tried, but no can do. Then, check out our special Scout & Molly selection of Apricot dresses and skirts, too. Piaf would definitely have approved of the knee-grazing garments.

Tip: It’s all about balance, so we recommend revving up Apricot’s Leaf Smock Dress with Alexander boots by Scout, a fetching wool felt hat by Scout & Molly, and one puffy, studded Casey bag by Haute Shore. For a grand slam finish, team the black and green hues with shiny confections by Chanour—and perhaps a spot of apple green nail polish?
